kinetic sculpture, 2016
The sculpture consists of interconnected motorized spheres, to which
several polystyrene balls are attached with elastic threads. Due to the
movement of the motorized spheres, the elastic threads entangle gradually,
causing the polystyrene balls form into a restless, chaotically moving pile,
which is visually inspired by the tuberculosis pathogen Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
